Aisha Year of the Ape was awarded Juror’s Choice in the “Carnival of the Animals“ juried show at the Mandell Weiss Gallery at the San Diego Ballet in February 2025. This same piece won the Nainsook Award at the Foothills Art Association’s 35th annual Wildlife in Art Show , November 2024.
